Willie Shields

Guitarist Willie Shields developed his life-long love of music in his Delta hometown of Indianola, Mississippi. His early influences were BB King, Muddy Waters, Albert King and Wes Montgomery. Since he moved to Chicago as a teenager, he has played with a number of popular local bands, including Urban Crisis, Flashback Chicago, Groove Express, and Blues Man Johnny B. Moore. He has recorded with KC Records label (home of KC and the Sunshine Band) and with South Boulevard at Chicago’s Electric Garyland Studios.
