Well, we’ve done it—finally finished our first CD—and we are proud as punch of it!

We’ve collaborated with some excellent musicians to add a whole ‘nother dimension to our inspired sound: Stevie Wonder’s background singers, Ray Charles’ trumpet player, Aretha Franklin’s bari sax player, Big Twist and the Mellow Fellow’s keyboard player and Blood, Sweat and Tears’ double-C trumpet player on the flugelhorn for us.

And we’ve partnered with the super-talented, Grammy award-winning producer and writer Jim Tullio, who recorded and mixed us at his own local studio over the past three years of our spare time.

We can’t WAIT for you to hear this crowning achievement of the past nine years we’ve been together as South Boulevard Band.

And we can’t wait to land a big enough gig so we can afford to get everyone together to perform this amazing blend of originals and covers live on stage, joining our already multi- talented core.

We’re still bandying about names—Takin it to the Next Level, No Turning Back Now, Gramps with Amps, and of course, Somebody Scream—and we’ll be deciding on one real soon. But first, we’re on to the mastering stage and raising money to cover those costs, plus those involved with duplication, distribution and marketing.
